After completing their flat car load and building diorama projects, the participants in the Making Trains Fun clinics can submit their projects in the Youth Modeling Contest.

There are two categories:

• Flat car load

• Building diorama

Entries must be submitted by 5:00 pm on Thursday June 3, 2027.

Flat car and building diorama winners and Best of Show will be determined by popular vote by convention attendees.

​​

Division winners and Best of Show winner will be announced during the BBQ/banquet on Friday June 4, 2027.
