The Grand Ole Opry is a Nashville institution for all lovers of country music. The Opry is the longest running live radio broadcast in U.S. history with more than 5,200 consecutive performances. The first performance was on November 28, 1925. The name of this performance was the WSM Barn Dance. The name was changed to the Grand Ole Opry on December 10, 1927 and has been known by this name ever since.

Country music icons such as Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, The Gatlin Brothers, Vince Gill and Bill Anderson among many others may perform during the two-hour long show. More recently inducted members into the Grand Ole Opry such as Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Lauren Alana, Carly Pearce, Jelly Roll and Ashley McBryde could be scheduled to perform. About one week before the show date, the list of performers will be posted on line.

The Nashville Area Garden Railroaders will reserve a large block of tickets for the Tuesday June 1, 2027 Grand Ole Opry performance. There will be two blocks of tickets for the main floor and one block of seats in the balcony. Tickets for the Grand Ole Opry are an optional activity and are not included in the convention registration fee. Tickets can purchased using the registration form on the the convention website.

There is free parking in the Opry Mills parking lot which can be used by those self-driving to the Grand Ole Opry performance. Park towards the northeast side of the shopping mall parallel to Briley Parkway. It is short walk from the parking lot to the Grand Ole Opry House. Parking in a Gaylord Opryland Resort parking lot will cost $37 and this is not recommended.
