The Nashville Area Garden Railroaders proudly will host the 2027 National Garden Railway Convention from May 31 to June 5, 2027. Many of the convention activities will be held at the Made In Tennessee Building located at the James E. Ward Agricultural Center in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Our membership has more than doubled since we last hosted the National Convention in 2021 and there will be many new garden railroads on the layout tours to visit in 2027. We have several special, exciting family-friendly activities planned, including a "Meet and Greet" opening reception, a railroad travia contest, tickets for the world renowed Grand Ole Opry, the General Jackson show boat dinner cruise along the Cumberland river. Also, planned are many traditional convention activities such an ice cream social, BBQ dinner, a large vendor hall featuring many well-known businesses in the hobby for all your hobby needs. There will be a special forum about building the Red Poppy Garden Railroad near Georgetown, Texas.
